ABOUT The INITIATIVE
Collaboratively we've created a sustainable fund that supports our best female amateur athletes to access pinnacle international competitions (like KONA WC) and our elite female athletes access more international competitions. With 100% of the profits from the ALOHA Jersey going straight into this fund - we'll be able to reduce the economic inequities that hinder women's participation and progress in competing at the highest worldwide levels. Our Elite Athletes are also able to access the fund to also help them get to more internationally competitve start lines and lead the way in inspiring and motivating more women. Together we can get more women to more starting lines and continue to inspire the next generation of girls to thrive in our sports.
SUPPORT & ACCESS
Your financial support of this annual initiative through purchasing our special release Jersey is an opportunity to progress womens participation in sport and help more women reach their full potential as athletes. You will be offering more women; likely someone you know, a family member, friends or a fellow race mate; the help they need to access the highest competition and levels of success they have worked tremendously hard to get to. The funding pool will be made available on application, economic assessment and panel review to qualifying LUPA Members.

Thank you to all our intial supporters in 2023 who joined us in raising $4059.01 to establish this unique fund! We love seeing you wearing your ALOHA jerseys with pride on the roads all around the world. In this last year; we were grateful to have 7 athletes eligible to access this new fund; however all declined accessing the funding in this first start up phase and wished to pay it forward to more women with need for the 2024/25 season.
